- For the prevention of cardiovascular dirofilariasis, the product should be applied at regular monthly intervals during the time of year when mosquitoes (intermediate hosts that transmit heartworm larvae) are present.
- The product can be administered throughout the year or at least one month before the first exposure to mosquitoes.
- Treatment should be continued at regular monthly intervals and extended for one month after the last exposure to mosquitoes.
- To establish a routine of treatment, it is recommended that applications be made on the same day or date of the month.
- In the cardiovascular dirofilariasis prevention program, if Advocate replaces another product, the first administration of Advocate should be made within one month of the application of that product.

Store in a dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight, at temperatures up to 25°C.

In case of accidental oral ingestion, symptomatic treatment should be administered.
